This truly is the Big Daddy of Swiss Army knives, offering 85 implements capable of performing over 100 different functions. It makes my puny Swiss Army Knife with its ten implements look like Mr Bean meets Arnold Schwarzenegger in his prime.
There were originally two companies who made knives for the Swiss Army - Victorinox , makers of "the original Swiss Army Knife", and Wenger, makers of "the genuine Swiss Army Knife". Victorinox took over Wenger in 2005, but the brand lives on.
The Giant Swiss Army Knife includes every implement ever included with a Wenger knife since 1893. Weighing in at one and a half kilos (2lb 11oz in old money) and 24cm (9") wide, it's not the handy camping tool you slip into your pocket. And don't try to get through an airport security check with one in your hand luggage either.
