Yesterday I walked into a joke shop. Today I'm covered in bruises. Boom boom.

Actually the last time I walked into a joke shop, it was to buy one of the best jokes of all time, the classic hand buzzer.

Wind it up, hide it in your palm, and when you shake somebody's hand it gives them a vibrating shock. The perfect ice breaker at weddings, job interviews and any official function you care to mention.

Much to my surprise, the shop's owner told me he no longer sold them because of "health and safety".

Has the world gone mad? Laughter's meant to be good for you.

But the joke's on him anyway because I now know where you can buy them online.
