The safe that thinks it's a can of oil

Tins And Cans You Can Hide Things InAccording to the latest Home Office figures for England and Wales, a home is burgled on average every two minutes. A frightening statistic.

So where exactly do you hide valuables - spare car keys, cash, jewellery - so that a thief doesn't find them if you fall victim to a break-in?

What about inside a safe can like this WD-40 one? It looks exactly like a real can of WD-40 oil, but is actually a fantastic place to hide small items.

It has a screw bottom that allows you to open the can and insert your valuables. Put it in the garage alongside similar items or under the kitchen sink in amongst cleaning products and nobody will be any the wiser.

Other safe cans and tins are available. A hairspray safe can for example might be ideal for a female student or for a traveller. A Coca Cola can safe could be hidden in a fridge.

The WD-40 Safe Can is £12.22 from Spycatcher Online.
